AlphaTheta XDJ-AN puts streaming and club-style controls in one DJ system
AlphaTheta's XDJ-AN is a two-channel all-in-one DJ system with USB, mobile, computer, streaming, and cloud-library playback, plus a club-inspired layout and built-in SonicLink wireless monitoring.
AlphaTheta has introduced the XDJ-AN, a two-channel all-in-one DJ system designed to narrow the gap between controller-based home setups and the separate-player workflows common in clubs. Its control layout borrows from the company's CDJ and DJM families, but the system keeps the decks, mixer, display, and music-source connections in a single portable unit.
The XDJ-AN can play tracks from USB storage, a connected computer, or compatible mobile DJ apps. It also supports StreamingDirectPlay for Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal, with subscriptions required. rekordbox users can reach cloud-stored libraries through CloudDirectPlay and synchronize playlist changes, Hot Cues, and other preparation data through Cloud Library Sync.
AlphaTheta has added direct playlist editing on the touchscreen, so DJs can create, reorder, rename, and update playlists without returning to a laptop. The system works with rekordbox, Serato DJ Lite and Pro, and Algoriddim djay software, while iOS support allows a phone to act as the music source when a computer is not practical.
Built-in SonicLink is another notable addition. When paired with compatible AlphaTheta headphones, it provides wireless cue monitoring with latency as low as 9 milliseconds. The unit also includes XLR and RCA master outputs, Bluetooth audio input and output, Wi-Fi, and a compact 25.1-inch-wide chassis.
At $1,199, the XDJ-AN sits well above entry-level controllers but below AlphaTheta's larger flagship all-in-one systems. Its appeal will depend on whether buyers value standalone playback and cloud access enough to move beyond a laptop controller. Sweetwater listed the XDJ-AN at $1,199 and B&H carried the system when MusicGearWatch checked availability on August 11, 2026.
